Kutuzov-na-Murmane
founder's story

I am Viktor Kutuzov, a Murmansk resident, a professional guide.

For me, Kutuzov-na-Murmane is not just a brand, but a synonym for quality, hospitality, and the warmth with which we greet every guest.
I've assembled a team of true professionals to ensure your visit to the Russian Arctic is flawless, engaging, and memorable!
I'm in love with the Russian Arctic. I explore not only its stunning nature but also its heroic history.

I speak the language of travelers. I'm fluent in Russian and English.

I understand you perfectly. Having traveled to 22 countries from Asia to North America, I know what's truly important for tourists from all over the world. And now, with pride and joy, I share the beauty of my native land with guests from entire world!

My tour groups have already included travelers from:
China, India, Indonesia, Türkiye, Philippines, UAE, Thailand, Iran, USA, Germany — and, of course, Russia.

On October 4, 1916, the city of Romanov-na-Murmane, which we know today as Murmansk, was founded. This story inspired me to create the Kutuzov-na-Murmane brand as a tribute to the past and a symbol of continuity.
The company's name includes my last name, and therefore I am personally responsible for the quality of our work.

Viktor Kutuzov
Viktor Kutuzov is the founder of our company, a certified guide, and a native Murmansk resident.
Having traveled to 22 countries, he learned firsthand what truly high-quality organization, a heartfelt guide, and attention to detail mean. Now, he applies all that invaluable experience here, at home.

Viktor is fluent in English and learning Chinese — so that every guest, no matter where they’re from, feels equally engaged, comfortable, and well looked after.
Natalya
Natalya grew up hiking with her hunter father, so she knows the tundra like the back of her hand.
In tourism since 2022
Before becoming a guide, she worked as a snowboard instructor on Elbrus, so she handles any conditions and any group with ease.

She love to bring a professional camera to capture the best moments and has even taken public speaking courses to tell stories in an engaging way. She also occasionally helps filmmakers — which gives her a special eye for vivid, cinematic landscapes.
Boris
Experience: over 30 years
Boris is our most experienced guide.
He started leading tours back in the 1990s for foreign visitors from cruise ships. For more than three decades, he traveled the Kola Peninsula and can talk about it endlessly.

He speaks excellent English, loves chatting with people, and takes great pleasure in showing guests both the main attractions and the hidden corners of the Arctic.
Alena
In tourism since 2016
Alena is a historian and worked in a museum, library, and archive.
Currently, she works at the Museum of the Town of Kola, writes articles about the North for the magazine "Northern Style", and leads walking tours of Murmansk.

She has a real gift for explaining complex topics simply and engagingly. She specializes in themed routes and can design a tour for almost any request.

The perfect guide for those who want to understand the city, not just checking landmarks.
Valeriya
Experience: over 4 years
Valeriya combines two backgrounds: she is both a historian and a psychologist.
Thanks to this, her tours are not just a stream of dates and facts, but a comfortable, meaningful journey. She easily connects with all kinds of people — from families with children to discerning guests — and offers unique ways to experience the North’s nature through special psychological practices.

Her experience in museums and hospitality helps her create truly thoughtful and engaging programs.
Elena
In tourism since 2024
Elena is a guide with a solid academic background in Earth sciences.
She looks at the nature of the Kola Peninsula like a researcher: reading the region’s history in the rocks, understanding animal behavior, and explaining how plants survive in the permafrost.

With her, a tour becomes a fascinating science-filled adventure, where every route is a chance to uncover the secrets of the mysterious, wild, and incredibly beautiful Arctic.
Anzhela
In tourism since 2025
Anzhela is a professional journalist, and that's visible in her tours.
She masterfully weaves vivid, lively, and compelling stories about the Arctic, filling every narrative with memorable details. Her goal is to give every guest a personal reason to fall in love with this land.

Anzhela herself adores the energy of the polar day and the scent of flowering blueberries — and her curiosity about life even once led her to the Murmansk Region Surfing Championship.
Lyudmila
In tourism since 2014
Lyudmila has been in tourism for over 10 years.

She is fluent in English
and German, and you could say travel is in her blood — she’s the daughter of a sea captain. She loves her region, like the fish smell and dreaming of catch a huge cod in the Barents Sea.

Spending time with her is easy and fun — she radiates energy and knows the Arctic from many different angles.
